Wrapping up this 1959 C**t Govt Model, built with a sprinkling of old and new techniques. A polished rounds gun is never easy, but they do have a certain glow about them as a result. Huge thanks to Artistry Unlimited LLC for the engraved checkering fore and aft, I hand checkered the mag catch to match. Custom beavertail fabricated in house.

1955 C**t Govt Model with a nice feature set for a fun range toy build. This gun is on it's 4th life now, at least. Its first as a stock Govt Model, at some point in its first 20 years reworked some for Bullseye, then again reworked as a carry gun with Novak sights in the past 30 years. Now, today reborn with a full gut and rebuild, NoMar rear sight, Kart Barrel, Stan Chen Customs Magwell, Fresh hot blued finish, Handmade grips and much more.

I build so few guns that are left natural Stainless, this C**t 38 Super reminds me how nice they can look. New production o1911C with crummy lasered roll marks fixed by a skilled hand engraver to give them life again.

A bit of a Fantasy Project for a client. He procured the 1947 Government Model frame from me, he sent me the Pre-War 38 Super slide and C**t barrel. I neither consider this a restoration, or a full house custom build, the gun falls in between those in a beautiful way. I refit it all, and filled it with prewar style parts, some welding, LOTS of polishing, and topped it off with Turnbull Restoration Co.'s Carbonia Blue, and Sean's Ugly Grips Genuine Faux Ivory, fully checkered. Can't make them look this good without a trip to Artistry Unlimited LLC either!

Veteran's Day, if ever there were a holiday worthy of a Custom C**t, I think this is it.

The man who inspired this project, I think of you daily, and treasure the memories, and your flag. I don't believe you ever shot a pistol after making it home from the Pacific, but I like to think if he were here today at 100, he would appreciate the sentiment.

This C**t left Hartford in 1943, the same year Grandpa left the farm to enlist for WWII. To him and all Veterans, know that I appreciate you.
