Odegard Sign has been a Kansas City institution for 30 years. From billboards to on-premise signs, large and small, Odegard has seen and done it all. Seven and a half years ago, we purchased Odegard Sign and have put our own stamp on the business –

We focus on rapid response time, great customer service, and expanding our business direct with local customers to complement our work partnering with national sign companies and national brands. We are blessed and fortunate that our business has continued to thrive throughout the pandemic, and with all of the changes we have all been through in 2020, and after a good deal of thought and consideration, we felt now was the time to do our own rebranding. What exactly is a vector file - and why do we keep asking for one? 👀

If you’ve ever been asked to provide a “vector file” for your logo, you’re not alone in wondering what that means.

Vector artwork is made up of paths and shapes rather than pixels, which means it can be scaled up or down without losing quality. That makes it ideal for signage, from small interior graphics to large exterior signs.

Common vector file formats include .AI, .EPS, .SVG, and certain .PDFs.

One important note: simply saving a JPG or PNG as a PDF or EPS doesn’t make it a true vector file. The original artwork needs to be created as vector artwork.

We recently completed the corner cabinet and window vinyl signage for neat.bar, a new cocktail lounge in Lenexa City Center.
