Join us for an evening in North Central Massachusetts to raise awareness for mental health. 🩷

On Wednesday, June 17, at 6 p.m., my friend Jake Miskin will host a viewing of “Shattered Ice,” at Mount Wachusett Community College.

Jake wrote the screenplay and produced the film about a teenage hockey player in a small New England town dealing with grief after his best friend dies by su***de, focusing his journey to find hope through his community, friends, and the sport.

The film aims to raise awareness about mental health and su***de prevention with a mission to start conversations and stop the stigma.

Following the film, a panel discussion (moderated by a familiar face🙂) will be held to bring together our community and send mental health stigma out of the darkness and into the light.

Many thanks to my alma mater, MWCC, and MWCC President James Vander Hooven, for all your support to raise awareness of mental health and for hosting this important event. 💚💙

Spending this Memorial Day weekend with profound reflection, gratitude and saddness as it marks the first Memorial Day without my Dad.

My dad, Dennis Grammont, proudly served his country as a Sergeant for the U.S. Marines in the Vietnam War. He was recognized with a National Defense Service Medal, two Vietnam Service Medals, and several commendations.

He made the ultimate sacrifice for our country on July 1, 2025, when illness resulting from the effects of agent orange during his service took him from us.

Beyond his uniform, my dad taught me the true meaning of discipline and integrity.

I remember with gratitude my dad, my father-in-law Domenic Howe, and all the fallen heroes who gave everything for our freedom.

Thank you for your continued legacy, Dad. I miss you and I love you. ❤️

Engaging with the communities where we live and work is essential. 🎨

💚 When I opened the second location of empHowered PR a few years ago, my goal was not only to grow my business but also create a positive impact in the community.

🖼️ Over the years, I’ve been drawn to the Worcester Art Museum. It’s a place where I spent considerable time when I previously worked in the city and still find solace surrounded by great works of world-class art, a welcoming staff and a quiet environment to think, brainstorm and reflect in the many galleries.

⭐️ I was honored to attend the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce11th Annual Woostapreneurs Forum and participate as a panelist for a discussion about the resources a budding entrepreneur should have when setting up the path toward business ownership.

🗣️ Joined by Darnell J. Dunn as moderator extraordinaire, and fellow panelists Joshua LaPan John S. Pothier and Angela Maher, we all shared our areas of expertise and how we can help entrepreneurs find growth, capital, guidance on contracts and strong messaging that resonates across all audiences.
