⚠️If you get a message saying a large Apply Pay payment has been blocked and you're urged to call a number immediately, don't dial it.
It's a scam.
The message is designed to look official. It might include a fake case number, Apple-style branding, and urgent warnings that your account will be locked. The phone number goes straight to scammers who want your Apple ID, verification codes, or card details.
Apple will never ask you to call a number from a text or email. Your bank handles genuine payment issues automatically and would contact you through official channels, not ask you to scramble via a random text.
Quick checks before you do anything:
✅Is the sender's email address exactly right? Look for small typos or odd domains
✅Does it address you by name or just say "Hello [Name]"?
✅Can you verify the transaction yourself in Settings> [Your Name] . Media & Purchases?
If something feels off, go directly to apple.com. Do not use any contact details in the message.
Stay safe and share this so others know what to look out for👇
