J Browne Excavating is now hiring for a
Utility Foreman
Must have 8 years of experience
Responsibilities include:
-Supervise daily field operations for utility installation projects
-Track daily logs of operations for office staff
-Reading blueprints
-Maintain project schedules and quality standards
-Conduct site safety meetings and enforce OSHA compliance
-Strong knowledge of sewer, storm, and water utility construction
-Ability to lead crews and communicate effectively with operators, pipe-layers and laborers
-Proven experience as a Utility Foreman or similar leadership role
-Valid driver’s license required
-Experience with trench safety, pipe installation, grading, and layout
-Assist with heavy equipment operation and general laborer duties as needed
Skill Requirements
-Stong leadership skills and and attitude at
-Requires regular lifting and working in temperatures that can be extreme for numerous hours straight, must be able to lead a normal shift of 8-12 hours.
-Attention to detail
-Ability to be flexible with schedules. Overtime and out of the county work may be required.
-Wear and maintain PPE and conduct oversight on crew
