AIR FLOW ISSUE
The heating element is seldom the problem when a clothes dryer takes a long time to dry a load. It could be a much more dangerous situation. An obstructed ventilation path, anywhere between the lint trap and the exterior of the home, is often the culprit. There is not only higher energy costs associated with this situation, but there is a real threat of the system overheating and causing a house fire. Contact us for a ventilation system inspection, from the lint trap to the outdoors, especially if your dryer is older than 5 years.
