Let's be honest, losing an hour of sleep SUCKS. However, gaining the sunshine sooner and longer is truly magical. I'll take a few rough days of sleep adjustments over darkness at 4:00 pm any day! I don’t know about you, but the start of daylight savings is both something I look forward to and dread at the same time.
☀️Positives: warmer weather is near, and we get more sun!
🫠Negatives: we lose an entire hour of sleep and no one knows wtf time it is for at least 3 days. Despite the negatives, I do always feel prepared for the change, and you can too! My rule of thumb is to wait until Sunday to change the clocks, and the schedule, to help minimize confusion (especially for the older kids who are learning to tell time or any of y’all who have parent-brain like me 🥴) ➡️ Swipe to find the sample schedule that applies to you, and get ready to spring forward!

REALITY POST: This is the look of a kid who’s weekend was filled with a ton fun, but not a ton of sleep. While I often practice what I preach about the importance of healthy sleep habits and schedules, sometimes life gets in the way and $ #!+ hits the fan. Nobody is perfect, not even sleep coaches. So if you’re coming off a long weekend or a long week of crazy schedules, late bedtimes, and exhaustion, just know you’re not alone! $ #!+ happens and all we can do is or best to reset, and get back to our regularly scheduled programming.
