Have you ever heard someone with dementia scream and cry over and over again, sometimes saying "Help Me!, Help Me!" I have heard this upsetting cry many times in facilities. It's very disconcerting and the first thing I always want to do is run to see how I can help. Many things can be the cause of these outbursts; fear, sadness, loneliness, and the goes on.
