Myth: “Solar panels have a negative impact on the environment.”
Solar energy is one of the cleanest forms of electricity generation available today.
Solar panels produce power without combustion, air pollution, or harmful emissions during operation. They also do not emit dangerous radiation — the electromagnetic fields (EMFs) generated by solar systems are extremely low and comparable to many everyday electrical devices.
While manufacturing solar panels requires energy and raw materials, modern systems offset their production footprint within just a few years and continue generating clean electricity for decades.
The environmental challenge is not solar energy — it’s continuing dependence on fossil fuels.
