Thank you to the Columbus Chamber of Commerce for curating such a thoughtful event on Innovation & Transformation. It was a joy to see our very own Monica Weiler, Ph.D., on the panel- spotlighting how human-centered design isn’t just for products or spaces, but also for the systems and services that power everyday business.

Hey Central Ohio/Cbus Folks! I have been contacted by a 3rd-grade teacher (a friend) that teaches in one of our Columbus City Schools that have students from underserved backgrounds. She is unable to run online classes because 12 out of her 14 students don't have laptops/computers at home. The school system/board is not able to release the tablets from the city schools because of red-tape and other issues. If any of your organizations or homes have old laptops (still working) they/you can donate, we can arrange for pick-ups, clean-up and reformat the memory to make it available to these kids. Contact me through direct messaging and we can go from there!

Based on her 35 years of experience as a pioneering academic and practitioner, Liz has co-authored "Convivial Toolbox" one of the leading books on design research. Do you have a loved one (e.g., mother, father, aunt, uncle, etc.) whom you are helping, or want to help, plan for their senior life?

If so, we have a great opportunity for you!

We are a third-party research firm—Stratos Innovation Group. We are currently working with an organization that helps seniors with everyday life. They are in the process of creating a 'journey guide service’ that can help seniors and their families plan for and navigate a holistic vision of the senior's future life.

As a part of the study, we are currently looking for people who would like expert help as they create and work through plans for their senior's future. This is not a typical consumer research opportunity. It's more like a pilot program. We're building an 'Advisory Board' – a group of people who will help us test and provide feedback to refine this service before it goes public.
