We are seeking qualified local HSE Technicians for two upcoming turnaround projects. These are temporary assignments with excellent overtime opportunities.
💲 Pay: Starting at $23.00/hr (Based on Experience)
🚫 No per diem, hotel, or mileage — Local candidates preferred
PROJECT 1 – Baton Rouge, LA
Duration: ~2 months
Schedule: Day & Night Shift
Local candidates preferred (No per diem)
PROJECT 2 – Mississippi
Location: Pending confirmation
Duration: ~10 weeks
Schedule: Day & Night Shift
Local candidates preferred (No per diem)
Position Summary
The HSE Technician will plan, implement, and coordinate safety programs using engineering principles and safety technology to prevent or correct unsafe environmental and workplace conditions. This role supports turnaround operations and requires excellent communication, awareness, and safety leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Investigate industrial accidents, injuries, or occupational illnesses to determine root causes and preventive measures.
Report and review findings from accident investigations, inspections, and environmental testing.
Maintain and apply knowledge of safety policies, regulations, and industrial processes.
Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
Conduct or coordinate worker training on safety laws, regulations, hazard monitoring, and PPE use.
Review subcontractor safety programs for adequacy and compliance.

OSHA 30 required
