Well… I did something a little outside of my comfort zone 😊

I recently joined Lydia Media for my very first podcast to talk about my first year in business, the mission behind Twin City Consulting, and all things HR.

We talked about why I started Twin City Consulting and my belief that small businesses deserve thoughtful, high-quality HR support — without the expense of a full-time HR leader.

Starting a business has definitely pushed me outside my comfort zone, and this was one of those moments — but I’m really glad I said yes.

One year of helping small businesses navigate HR — and a new website to match.

One year ago, I launched Twin City Consulting with a simple belief:

Small businesses deserve thoughtful, high-quality HR support — even if they are not ready for a full-time HR department.

Over the last year, I’ve had the opportunity to support Maine businesses through:

✔ Handbook and policy work
✔ Workplace investigations
✔ Leave concerns
