Had the opportunity to work on a large project for a friend this past Summer. Rock wall, prep for concrete, slopes, trenches, almost everything to do with excavation.

Multi Purpose Court project including soil, concrete and wall removal. Rock Wall build, utilities and concrete preparation.

I have a lot of catching up to do for the projects this year. Thanks for joining. This is a project where the customer (good friend) wanted to expand parking on both the left and right of their driveway with road base. Part of the hill needed to be excavated and the material was used to widen the driveway a bit. This was fun because I got to use my new laser measurement tool from Stabila to make sure the slope of the addition would drain correctly. I've been using that tool all Summer now and love it. Good to be back in the sandbox!

Hey, thanks for following. This job is just taking the piles of dirt on a future lawn and leveling it out. I used the soil conditioner (power rake) to rip up the roots and even it out. The power rake makes it a whole lot easier to clean things up. Don't want to give the equipment all the credit, it also takes some manual work using a landscaping rake and picking out rocks.

After 29 years of Mechanical Engineering, I'm starting a new career in excavation. This page will show both the journey into this new endeavor and demonstrate capabilities. I have a large Mini Excavator, tracked skid steer and a dump truck (hauls 13 ton). I have a compactor and a soil conditioner that attach to the skid steer. I've worked on drive ways, foundations, trenches, etc... It's great to get back in the sandbox!
