🚨 Battery Fire Hazard – Please Read 🚨
These photos show a damaged lithium-ion battery we recently encountered. As you can see, these batteries can fail catastrophically—melting, smoking, and causing dangerous fires when handled improperly.
NiCad and Lithium-ion batteries are an EXTREME fire hazard. When placed in curbside or general recycling, they can be crushed, damaged, or short-circuit—putting our employees, equipment, community and facilities at serious risk.
🔥 DO NOT put batteries in: • Curbside recycling bins
• General recycling loads
• Trash containers
✅ DO THIS INSTEAD:
Take all rechargeable batteries to the Asotin County Landfill Hazardous Waste Management Area for proper, safe disposal.
Proper disposal helps prevent fires, protects workers, and keeps our community safe.

🌱 Pausing our regularly scheduled programming to celebrate something pretty special… last week’s very first Igniter Summit. 🔥

Over three days in Great Falls, Montana, we brought together our culture ambassadors (Igniters)from across our footprint 👣to learn, connect, challenge each other, volunteer, laugh, and continue strengthening what makes this company different (Employee Ownership)! 🥳

Our Igniters are more than participants in programs or meetings. They are connectors. Culture builders. People who are willing to model ownership in action every single day.

Throughout the Summit, we:
💚 Learned through leadership and culture sessions
💚 Worked hands-on together
💚 Volunteered with the incredible team at 's House.
💚 Toured our Great Falls branches (Great Falls Steel, Great Falls Recycling, Steel Etc., and Corp HQ).
💚 And yes… hosted our first ever Paper, Scissors, Rock Tournament 🏆 (an amazing idea borrowed from our friends at )

Underneath all the fun, this Summit represented something much deeper.

More than 119 years ago, Joseph Thiebes built Pacific on values like trust, fairness, hard work, and connection. Those roots still matter today. You could feel them in every conversation, every shared idea, every volunteer moment, and every person willing to step up and help make Pacific stronger.

CDL Class A Driver - Join Our Team
The Opportunity
We are seeking a professional CDL Class A driver to deliver steel products safely and accurately - including pipe, culverts, and rebar-to our customers. This role also includes delivering and picking up recycling bins, hauling cardboard bales, and building strong relationships with customers along the way.
Our service area covers communities within a 100-mile radius of Lewiston. You will operate well-maintained equipment, including a Kenworth T800 semi, International 9200 flatbed and a Dodge 3500 diesel with a 14-foot flatbed.
What You Can Expect
This is an active, hands-on position. You will:
• Secure and tarp loads.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts.
• Manage deliveries independently.
• Experience a variety of tasks-no two days are the same
If you enjoy staying active, working independently, and taking pride in your work, this role offers a new challenge every day.
Schedule & Work-Life Balance
• Monday- Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Home every night
• Most weekends and all major holidays are off.
