5 goats out the door yesterday! Thank you to the Hendrickson (Huntingdon county) and Schon (Lycoming county) families on the purchase of their 4h market goats yesterday afternoon. We can't wait to see how they turn out at fair time!

Yesterday morning our last doe, Iris, had her twins! A traditional buck (Ivan, 8.5lbs) and a black traditional doe (Indie, 8lbs). Our kidding season is officially over until next year.

Here's an update on kid weights and I wanted to share statistics from our new buck, Bean, since all his kids have been born:

Mabel-7lbs
Mac-10lbs
Pistol and Pepper- 9 lbs
Petunia- 9.5lbs

Yesterday morning Midnight had a traditional doe, Mabel, and a black traditional buck, Mac. Patch had twin bucks, a traditional named Pistol and a black traditional named Pepper. Fun fact about Pepper, he has a brown spot on his neck as well! This morning Pearl gave us a big single traditional doe, Petunia. Petunia has 2 dappled spots on her neck as well. I didn't get weights on these guys yet, but I will update when I do.

Yesterday morning we had 2 more sets of twins born and they were all bucks! Jill had 2 traditionals, Jasper and Julius, who weighed 9 and 8.5lbs respectively. Betty had 2 black traditionals, Briar and Bear, who each weighed 9lbs. This morning we had 2 more sets of twins, so there will be an update on those tomorrow. Kidding season is almost done already!

1st picture: Licorice (1st time mama) had a traditional buck (Louie, 6lbs), and a traditional doe (Lilac, 6.5lbs) born yesterday
2nd picture: Cupcake had a traditional doe (Clementine, 8.5lbs) and a paint doe (Cinnamon, 8lbs) born yesterday
3rd picture: Dixie had twins this morning a black traditional doe (Dahlia, 9 lbs) and a paint buck (Dancer, 8.5lbs)

Yesterday, Caramel (1st time mama) had twins, a buck and a doe. The doe had a rough start, so she's being bottle fed. Today we had 2 sets of twins born! Pictures and info on them to come later.
