Squad & Boat 15-1 operated a body recovery from the Juniata River this morning. Coroner & the police department are investigating.

Units operated the scene for 3 hours before returning.

The Officers and Members would like to send our thoughts and prayers to the Heritage Volunteer Fire Co #1 & Mifflintown Hose Co #1 while they both have lost members of their departments within the last couple days.

Ron & Chuck rest easy brothers, we got it from here….

3 members along with a crew from McVeytown Volunteer Fire Co. & Mount Union Fire Company traveled to Duncannon Fire Company to run their rigs while the hosted The raffle on the hill.

Training this month was focused on pump training on the new squad and the rescue. This allowed us to sign off on our Drivers training form to allow new drivers for the rigs!! We wanna thank Yeagertown Fire Company for coming in and filling a porta tank up for us so members could stay inside while pumping the squad and not have to be in the pouring rain. Also wanna thank McVeytown for the hard tubs for our new squad!!

Truck 15W/5 responded to assist Yeagertown Fire Company with a barn on fire. Truck was assigned to the middle of the barn for aerial operations.

Crews worked the scene for approximately 5 hours

Rescue W/4 assisted the brothers and sister from Decatur Fire Co.5 with a vehicle accident with entrapment.

Rescue arrived and started with flapping the roof from one side while members from 5 and Chief Logan Volunteer Fire Department worked the other side.

Members from all companies worked very well together with cutting and patient extraction.

Busy start to the weekend

Rescue Co went to assist Mifflintown Hose Co #1 on a garage fire in Milford Township.

Rescue Co then responded to a non injury vehicle Accident in the area of snappys.

Rescue Co ran a vehicle fire at Bushman Landscaping on 522. Crew stretched 1 line to cool down the motor compartment.

Around Midnight the Rescue Co transferring to Mount Union Fire Company while they had a possible house fire. Chief 7 placed it in service.

During Port Royal Speedway Dirt Track racing the tonight the Tower Co has the pleasure to present the American Flag on the back stretch!!
