When people hear the name Griffin Management and Finance LLC, they often assume we only handle bookkeeping and administrative tasks.

And yes, we do those things. But our work goes much further than that.

Think about everything that happens behind the scenes in a business. How new clients are brought on, how information is organized, how invoices are handled, how responsibilities are assigned, how tasks get completed, and what happens when something falls through the cracks.

Those are all parts of business operations.

Sometimes a business owner needs someone to manage those responsibilities. Other times, they need a better process in place so things can run more smoothly in the first place.

That's why we use the GMAF Method: ASSESS, BUILD, and MANAGE.

We start by understanding what's happening in your business and identifying what's creating unnecessary work. Then we build or improve the systems and processes that need attention. And when ongoing support is needed, we can manage recurring administrative, operational, and financial responsibilities.

Our goal isn't to make your business more complicated. It's to make the work behind your business easier to manage, more consistent, and less dependent on you remembering everything.

Because running a business is already a big responsibility. The systems behind it shouldn't make it harder.

When I look at what's happening behind a business, I'm not just looking for what's “wrong.” I'm looking for where the business may be making things harder than they need to be.

I look at how everyday work actually gets done. Are you doing the same things manually over and over? Are tasks getting missed or delayed? Does a process depend entirely on one person knowing what to do? What happens after someone becomes a client, and how are things like invoices, follow ups, documents, and recurring tasks being handled?

I also look at responsibilities. Does everyone know what they're responsible for, or does everything eventually make its way back to the owner?

And one of the biggest questions I ask is: What is taking up your time that shouldn't be?

Sometimes the answer is a missing process. Sometimes a process exists but isn't working anymore. Sometimes the right system is there, but it isn't being used effectively. And sometimes the business has simply grown beyond the way things were originally set up.

The goal isn't to add more systems just for the sake of having systems. It's to understand what's happening now, identify what's creating unnecessary work, and figure out what could work better.

That's what GMAF means when we say ASSESS. Before we start building solutions, we understand the business.

Sometimes the problem isn't that you're disorganized. The problem is that your business depends on you for almost everything.

You know which client needs a follow up, how each task is supposed to be completed, where everything is stored, what needs to happen next, and which things can't be forgotten. And because you know all of it, the business keeps moving.

But here's a question worth asking: **What happens when you're not available?**

Can someone else step in and know what needs to happen? Can they find the information they need? Is there a clear process to follow? Or does everything stop until you come back?

If your business can't function without you constantly remembering, explaining, checking, and following up, you may not have an organization problem. **You may have an operations problem.**

Good systems aren't about adding more rules or making your business complicated. They're about creating a clear way for things to get done consistently, whether you're the person doing them or not.

That's how you begin building a business that works with you instead of one that constantly waits on you.

Who Chooses?
