Mold Busters Columbia We are licensed, certified, and insured. Alex and Jessica are a husband and wife duo that own and operate Moldbusters. They have 4 kids.

🖌️ Swab testing: samples a visible surface, like a stain on a wall.
➿ Tape lift: clear tape lifts a sample from a surface for lab analysis.
⌛ Air testing: captures spores from the air, often compared with an outdoor sample.
🔌 ERMI testing: a DNA-based dust test that measures mold species in household dust.
💧 Moisture readings: a moisture meter finds damp areas in walls, floors, or materials where mold could grow.

When mold or water gets into drywall, painting over it doesn't fix it. We remove and rebuild drywall damaged by mold or water, start to finish.

Here's how it goes:

-We locate the drywall that's been affected.
-Damaged sections come out instead of being covered up.
-The area is treated and dried before anything goes back in.
-New drywall goes in to replace what was removed.

We handle both the removal and the rebuild.

How does dry fog mold remediation work? We use the Pure Maintenance two-step dry fog process.

Step 1, InstaPURE: we fill the space with a fog of VigorOx, an EPA-registered disinfectant made with hydrogen peroxide and peroxyacetic acid.

Step 2, EverPURE: we follow with an antimicrobial barrier on treated surfaces.

The fog particles are tiny, so they spread through the whole space and reach places you can't wipe by hand: every corner, every room. Families can come back home the same day.

The process has been studied by others: a 2024 lab study by Element, commissioned by Pure Maintenance, found 0 surviving test carriers after treatment, and the US Army Corps of Engineers ran a 2017 field study of it at Fort Campbell, KY.
