Last week in Washington D.C. Eagle Summit Resources CEO Michael Day attended the second meeting of the National Coal Council (NCC). As a member of the NCC appointed by President Donald J. Trump, Mr. Day joined his industry colleagues in officially presenting Secretary of The Interior Doug Burgum, Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, and the National Energy Dominance Council the first subcommittee report policy recommendations on growing the domestic coal fleet and U.S. coal exports.

Reflectance Energy LP, located in Beckley, WV, is looking for an Environmental Technician.

Interested candidates should have the following skills and qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.

· 5–10+ years of experience in surface and underground mining engineering and related activities

· WV Surface Coal Miner Card (40 hour)

· Proficient in Autocad/Survcad

· Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite

· Familiar with West Virginia mining laws, regulations, and permitting

· MSHA Impoundment Certification, preferred

· Assist with Article 3 Permits- SMAs, Amendments, Revisions.

· Assist with NPDES Applications including Reissuances, Modifications.

· Maintain good relationships with regulatory personnel including WVDEP, MSHA, MHST

· Participate in Environmental Audits

· Perform Miscellaneous Field Inspections

· Assist with designs on sediment control structures such as diversion ditches, culvert pipes, sediment ponds, haul roads, sumps, etc.

· Assist with impoundment activities 7 Day Inspections

· Maintain and perform SPCC/GPP inspections for all required facilities.

· Assist with review of reclamation activities for mining phases.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a demonstrated commitment to safe mining operations.
