For the last week or so my life has been completely upside down…but in all the best ways.

I’ll start this post by saying this is not my photo. This photo was shot by Kopana Terry, who happens to be 1/3 of what I consider the wedding photography Dream Team. Johnny Farris is also 1/3 the wedding photography Dream Team. They both worked with me over the years on numerous weddings. But this day they were just the Dynamic Duo and I’m sure it had to be a little intimidating for them to photograph another photographer’s wedding. (Eek!) That said I trust both of them implicitly and said “Just do your thing.”
The venue was unique, beautiful and challenging, mainly the harsh sunlight. Then some high clouds rolled in just in time for us to say “I do” (which we collectively breathed a sigh of relief) and everything fell into place.

I can’t thank them both enough for capturing our perfectly, imperfect wedding day.

I love seeing someone who is completely in their element. This delightful high school senior starter her session a little shy and unsure, which is completely normal. Then she picked up her violin and everything changed. Confidence radiated from her with every note.
