We’ll schedule a time that is good for you to come in and chat about your wedding. You can bring your notebook, binder, pictures, etc. we would love to see those as we chat! We’ll talk a little bit about what you’ve done so far, as far as selecting a venue, vendors, etc. Talk a little bit about where you’re at and then help create a to do list so you’ll be right on time with the planning! The best

part is that our services are complimentary to you, no matter how many times we meet! Our list of preferred wedding professionals are just the beginning of our services. In addition, we host and sponsor several educational, fun and helpful events throughout the year. We suggest you schedule a planning session with the studio to get started.

I can’t let National Photography Month end without mentioning preferred photographers!

Wes Brown Photography was one of the first vendor relationships I created when I started full service planning. The first photo is from an event he photographed for my family last fall and the second one is an event we did together in 2012! My scarf era.

Franzetti Photography Michelle and her husband Nick are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Nick is either the second shooter on a wedding day or you can add video with him as well! Michelle is also Lexington’s number one ranked bo***ir photographer!

Veronica Sparrow Photography has the best flat lays this side of the Mississippi. She shoots many of our vendor headshots too. Including the photo I used of Michelle & Nick and Olivia! She and her partner Casey also offer videography!

Olivia Anton Photography joined SLS about this time last year. I tell couples now that they are getting a steal when they hire her. In no time she’s going to be double that price. She has such an incredible eye and unique editing style!

We are lucky to have all of the photography talent in our area that we do. There’s someone out there for every couple!

It’s because of incredible vendors like these that I am able to provide complimentary wedding planning!

I’ve been trying to get better about posting my reels in real time. I made this one, was so proud of myself… and then completely forgot to post it. 🤦‍♀️

Pam Miller Downtown Arts Center was kind enough to host the vendors on Tuesday for networking. They’ve done a ton of renovations to the space, and we got to tour all three floors of event areas.

Honestly, I was super impressed. They’ve done a fantastic job with the entire building. This space is managed by Lexington Parks & Rec and offers three different pricing structures: one for art events, one for community/nonprofit events, and one for private events. The space offers something truly unique for downtown.

We also had delicious cupcakes from Creative with Meleah!

They always keep a small selection in stock to shop, but this week only they’re hosting a full trunk show with an even larger variety of styles and sizes available! 👗

Small Business Week is something I can’t let pass without recognizing. It’s because of small businesses that I’m able to do what I love, helping couples plan their weddings for free!
