It’s a single-needle, post-bed, needle-feed lockstitch machine (all-electric) with automatic features including auto foot lift, reverse/backtack, and thread trimmer.

CEDAR Special is an in-house industrial sewing machine brand (owned by Collier Equipment).

The post-bed design (elevated cylindrical arm) is especially useful for sewing tubular or three-dimensional items such as bags, shoes, gloves, or other shaped goods where a flat-bed machine would be awkward.
