🚒❤️ Supporting Our South Morrow County Firefighters ❤️🚒

Our firefighters have been extremely busy responding not only to our own fires, but also to mutual aid requests, helping neighboring departments and counties battle wildfires.

We are so grateful for the incredible support our community always shows! Many people have been asking how to help! The best thing to do, is to contact a member of the SSMCF board!

Every fire incident operates differently. Each county and department has its own process for feeding firefighters and delivering supplies. In many cases, the Incident Command Post is located miles away from the actual fire, and for safety reasons we don't want community members trying to locate firefighters on their own.

If you'd like to donate food, drinks, or other supplies, please contact: Darcie Chick @ 541-945-9495. You can also contact the other Board members as well - Josie Miles, Katilyn Zinter, Bria Wright, Tracey Johnson, Stephanie Lee. We can let you know what is currently needed and the safest, most appropriate drop-off location.

If you'd prefer to make a monetary donation to help purchase food, water, and other necessities for our firefighters, you can visit www.ssmcf.org or send a check to PO Box 24, Heppner, Oregon 97836.

Your generosity helps ensure our firefighters stay fed, hydrated, and ready to continue protecting our communities. Thank you for standing behind the men and women who serve South Morrow County! ❤️🚒
