Through pop-ups, a traveling book cart, and creative gatherings, we create welcoming spaces to slow down, make things, share ideas, and belong. We believe in setting the table for one another– one in which everyone belongs and imagination, creativity, learning, and community can flourish.

September is STACKED, Magpies 📚🪶 It’s birthday month for two of us (America's 30th on the 6th & Grace's birthday on the 25th) so naturally we had to fill the calendar with books and rhinestones.

We’re kicking things off this Saturday with a FREE BOOK SWAP at Lexington, KY Brewery | Blue Stallion Brewing Co. from 12–3 PM. Bring up to 5 gently used books, take up to 5, and grab a drink while you’re there — Blue Stallion is donating 9.5% of Saturday’s proceeds to the Imagination Library.

We’re just two sleeps away from Bookstore Romance Day where we’ll be popping up at Lexington, KY Brewery | Blue Stallion Brewing Co. from noon to 3pm with the adult book fair of our dreams! Stop by to shop, craft, and grab a drink at the bar (non-alcoholic options available; family friendly space) before heading to the Woodland Art Fair, or any of the other cool spaces Lexington has to offer!

Oh, and our social media girl has had her eye on doing a giveaway when we reach 1,000 followers. One of the prizes is a 24-piece Lenox Spice Village Set. Since we’re so close to 1k, everyone who makes a purchase on Saturday will receive 1 raffle entry for their chance to win.

Educators: Let us know what you do to pick out a sticker, on us! Valid for the month of October.

Our bookish events calendar is live for August! We’ve got our regular set of book clubs, but we’re also setting up shop at Lexington, KY Brewery | Blue Stallion Brewing Co. for Bookstore Romance Day on August 15 from noon to 3pm! The Traveling Book Woman of Magpie Collective is so excited for this pop-up bookstore experience (and yes, there will be book bedazzling and other crafts).
