Today's project, Smith and Wesson Wheelie Mod 19-4. Giving it a good cleaning and gonna try and fix some muzzle wear on the front to make it less noticeable. This is one of the tightest lockups I've ever felt on a Smith revolver. Nice piece !

I was asked what I would charge to go thru this and make sure it all functioned properly. I looked at it and said probably in the 10 to 12000 dollar range, They looked at me and said oh hell no, you got to be bullsh*tting me man..... I blankly looked at him and said, well sir, you started it.

I got to spend the day with a lifelong friend, recently retired LEO. This is my friend Ron and he is the reason I got into guns. He took me shooting and helped me get my first G***k pistol which I still have to this day. Being an armorer as I am, the stories we shared today, we spent the whole afternoon talking shop which was absolutely fantastic to hear about some guns from yesteryear and he was enthused to hear my love of revolvers. This is one of the best men I have ever known and I appreciate his wealth of knowledge and the new pup taught him a few new cleaning tricks. Hope he comes back down for another visit soon ! Thank you to his wife for letting me enjoy his company today.
