We are only two days away from our fundraiser. We still have raffle tickets for the three gun raffle and the 2-1/2 hogs and pedal tractor. If you are interested please reach out 1-217-242-0638.

Also don't forget to join us Saturday night at the red dog for food (free will donation) and live music. Serving food from 4-7pm. We will have tickets available there also.

Round 1 Wednesday may be the more impactful round with damaging winds in the region. Timing below for this round.

Main risk is damaging winds up to 75MPH.

This round will race across the state and exit by early evening.

A second round will try to materialize after 6PM in Iowa. This round we're not confident on as the first round will use up much of the storm energy. If the atmosphere is able to destabilize in the evening then we'll be tracking two rounds. For now, our main focus is this first round tomorrow.

UPDATE:

The newest forecast for Illinois has changed a bit. Areas in nearly the top half of the state--north of line from Macomb to Kankakee--now have an enhanced risk (level 3 of 5) for dangerous weather tomorrow (Wednesday) and tomorrow night.

Think ahead about your plans. Do you have kids' activities outdoors that afternoon and evening? Are you on a golf league? Will you be driving?

Showers and thunderstorms will move into the area on Friday and will spread across the region over the weekend. Temperatures will be just above normal for early June with afternoon heat index values in the lower to middle 90s on Saturday and Sunday. Go to weather.gov/stlouis to get your local forecast.

Rounds of storms are possible on Friday, with plenty of dry time between. We can see early morning storms, scattered afternoon storms, then a more widespread potential overnight. Some storms may be strong to severe, with heavy rain, especially Friday night.
