Increased Security Near Protectee Sites

The US Secret Service is actively monitoring the situation in Iran and remains in close coordination with our federal and local partners. The agency’s protective model is designed to be adaptable to meet the needs of the current security environment and ensure the continued safety of our protectees, protective sites, and the surrounding communities.

While we do not discuss our specific protective measures for operational security reasons, the public may notice an increased law enforcement and federal presence around U.S. Secret Service protected sites. Any temporary traffic or pedestrian impacts will be communicated by our local law enforcement partners.

We appreciate the public’s continued cooperation and awareness. As always, if something appears unusual or concerning, individuals are encouraged to report it to law enforcement.

Building a Strong Relationship with Your Security Provider

When it comes to security, trust is not built overnight—it’s developed through consistent communication, careful assessment, and a shared commitment to protecting what matters most. At Echelon Protection and Surveillance, we believe that a strong client-provider relationship is the foundation for delivering effective and reliable security services.

Too often, businesses and organizations think of security as a simple transaction: hiring a uniformed officer and checking the box. But real protection requires more than just a presence—it requires understanding. Without a clear knowledge of the client’s unique environment, risks, and goals, even the most professional security officer may not be positioned to perform effectively.

The Role of Security Assessments

Every business, event, or property faces its own set of vulnerabilities. That’s why comprehensive security assessments are a critical first step. These assessments allow security providers to analyze threats, evaluate current protocols, and design a strategy tailored to the client’s needs. For example, a corporate office may need discreet executive protection, while a retail space may require loss prevention and crowd management. By identifying these factors early, security plans can be proactive rather than reactive.

Beyond the First Day: Ongoing Reevaluation

Security is not static. Threats evolve, environments change, and businesses grow. A one-time assessment, while valuable, is not enough. This is why an ongoing relationship between client and provider is essential. Regular check-ins and reevaluations ensure that the security strategy adapts as circumstances shift—whether that’s a company expanding into new locations, an event requiring enhanced crowd control, or emerging risks such as cyber-physical threats.

Communication Is Key

A successful security partnership is built on open dialogue. Clients should feel confident sharing concerns, updates, and feedback with their security provider. Likewise, providers should communicate clearly about observations, risks, and recommendations. This back-and-forth creates a cycle of trust and responsiveness that strengthens protection over time.

Why Relationships Matter

At Echelon, we don’t just send out officers—we build partnerships. Our goal is to integrate with each client’s operations and culture, ensuring that our team is not only a protective presence but also a trusted ally. When a security provider understands your business, your people, and your priorities, they can provide coverage that feels seamless, effective, and truly reassuring.

A Partner in Protection

Security is more than a service; it’s a relationship. By investing in that relationship—through assessments, communication, and ongoing reevaluation—clients can ensure that their security coverage is not only adequate but optimal. At Echelon Protection and Surveillance, we’re committed to being more than just a provider. We’re your partner in protection, dedicated to keeping your people, property, and peace of mind secure.
