Next up in our recognition of supporters is our thanks to Xcel Energy of Colorado! This important energy partner purchases millions of kilowatt hours of power produced on the plains of eastern Colorado, and is the owner of the Rush Creek II project that has a number of turbines here in the county. Also, Xcel's Power Pathway also makes its way across a section of the County. Xcel Energy remains at the forefront of all Colorado energy planning and conversations, and we THANK our contact, Tyler Bryant and the entire Xcel Energy team that keep our plains energized!

Next up in our recognition of economic development investors is our own Limon Stop & Shop Supermarket! Trey and Kelbi Ford and company work hard to bring a full selection of groceries and amenities to the rural community of Limon, and with Limon serving as a regional center, to many families and individuals as much as 50+ miles away! Limon Stop & Shop Supermarket is a strong local employer and ensures that Lincoln County has access to fresh and healthy foods at all times. This is a big THANK YOU to Trey, Kelbi, and all the stockers and cashiers that keep the Stop & Shop operation running smoothly. We DO appreciate all that you do for our local economy!

As we close out this late summer work week, we would like to take a moment to recognize another of our supporters for economic development: Outshine Energy & Digital Infrastructure Development. Chief Energizing Officer Taylor Henderson has a long history in Lincoln County with roots that go all the way back to the County's first windfarm: Cedar Point Wind. Taylor serves on our EDC board of directors and brings to the forefront vital perspective on the green energy industry and how it affects Lincoln County. Can you believe it is already fair week? I have had the chance to check in a couple of times, and the animals and projects have all arrived! All the horse competitors have already had their day in the sun last week! Buyers Auction is this Friday, and as always, the calendar is chocked full of daily and evening activities. Come check out the Lincoln County Fair and Rodeo!
