Anew Shared Living Providers A community providing support & inclusion for Shared Living Clients and their Providers.

Anew Shared Living Providers, Executive Director and Owner, Claire Wilkins, has 19 years of personal Shared Living Provider experience. It became evident to Claire that the necessary support for contractors to successfully assist in the direct care of individuals with developmental disabilities was insufficient, and often lacking altogether. The need to change this reality has spawned Anew Shared Living Providers.

As an agency owner I do believe our original assessments needed to be updated, and all though the InterRAI itself is not horrible, there are many issues and our humans are slipping through the cracks! Adjustments need to be made.

Light Up the Night is so much more than just a prom. It’s a night where adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities get to feel celebrated, included, confident, and truly seen.

For many of the individuals we support, opportunities like this don’t happen often. A night filled with music, dancing, photos, laughter, friendship, and acceptance creates memories that last far beyond one evening. It gives people the chance to dress up, feel special, socialize with friends, and experience the joy and excitement that everyone deserves.
