Anew Shared Living Providers, Executive Director and Owner, Claire Wilkins, has 19 years of personal Shared Living Provider experience. It became evident to Claire that the necessary support for contractors to successfully assist in the direct care of individuals with developmental disabilities was insufficient, and often lacking altogether. The need to change this reality has spawned Anew Shared Living Providers.

Light Up the Night is so much more than just a prom. It’s a night where adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities get to feel celebrated, included, confident, and truly seen.

For many of the individuals we support, opportunities like this don’t happen often. A night filled with music, dancing, photos, laughter, friendship, and acceptance creates memories that last far beyond one evening. It gives people the chance to dress up, feel special, socialize with friends, and experience the joy and excitement that everyone deserves.

Merry Christmas to you all! Thnak you for your continued support of Anew, our clients, staff, family and guaridans! We are truly greatful!

The greatest gift given, came years later (Easter), when Jesus died on the cross, paying the ultimate price for our sins. This week as we celebrate with family and friends, may we never lose focus on what the true meaning and reason why we celebrate Christmas.

This may take the prize of best Christmas gift ever! Neighborhood pharmacy delivered today a gift that is called the 12 days of Christmas. 12 items that were all made by individuals with IDD and the package was wrapped by another individual also in supported employment! Seriously made me tear up! I just love my job!
