Last week, we gathered for an inspiring breakfast at Bryant University with keynote speaker Dr. Daryl Appleton, who challenged us to define success on our own terms, practice subtraction before addition, and remember that rest is necessary. On October 2, Monika Zuluaga, Chamber President & CEO, and Lauren Malloy, Membership Development Manager, headed to North Smithfield to meet with Town Administrator Scott Gibbs as part of the Chamber’s ongoing effort to connect with leaders from all 13 Northern RI communities we represent. They were also joined by Paul Jones, Chamber member and Chair of the North Smithfield Economic Development Commission.

The conversation centered on opportunities for the Chamber to better support North Smithfield’s business community, from strengthening connections between local businesses and town leadership to exploring ways we can work together to help them grow and thrive.

Strong communities are built on strong relationships, and we’re grateful to Scott and Paul for their time, insight, and commitment to North Smithfield’s businesses. We look forward to continuing the conversation and building on this partnership in the months ahead!

What a night at Centreville Bank Stadium! ⚽🌅

Last night’s NRICC Networking Pop-Up gave members a first look at the stadium before the gates opened to the public. Then we stayed for the match, and Rhode Island FC took the win with a 1-0 final! With perfect weather and great conversation, it was a fun twist on the traditional networking event.

We were thrilled to celebrate Social Sparks Behavioral Health with a ribbon cutting at their brand-new 7,000-square-foot home in Lincoln.

Owned by Shane and Kristen Myers, Social Sparks has proudly served Lincoln for 11 years. This expansion, supported by the Qualified Jobs Incentive from Governor Dan McKee and Commerce RI, will help them reach families on their waitlist and create 17 new full-time healthcare jobs right here in Northern RI.

The best part? Shane kept the entire celebration a surprise from Kristen until the night before! We loved helping him pull it off alongside the Town of Lincoln and their amazing team, friends, and family, including their son, Elijah. 💙

A special thank you to Town Administrator Phil Gould for presenting the Myers family with a Citation from the Town of Lincoln. Our members' successes are our successes, and we couldn't be prouder to cheer you on, Social Sparks!
