Alter Metal Recycling has been serving the community since 1999 when they acquired Neiden Iron and Metal. We relocated the facility to 6100 N 70th Street in July 2012 from 525 N Street down town, making way for the new Arena project. This has allowed us to design a state of the art operating facility to better serve our customers. "Expect More" has become our motto in many aspects. Either helping

the community to clean up after a tornado or just helping a local group in a fund drive. We have worked with the local Boy Scouts to help them understand the importance of recycling. The past few years we have worked with the City of Lincoln Recycling Coordinator to help raise money for the Lincoln Public Schools Recycling Program. Alter understands the importance in today's market place to assure you we have your best interest in hand as we are ISO certified in both 14001 Environmental and 9001 for Quality. We have the transparency you are looking for to help manage your scrap account by simply going to the Alter Metal Recycling Home Page and enter our Scrap Information Portal "SIP". There you will be able to view your Contracts, List of Shipments, View Payments, Ship Notice Entry, Scale Ticket Review, and Company Contracts. We also offer a variety of boxes, trailers and in some cases equipment to help stream line the process. We believe in quality customer service and welcome all comments as we have a comment box located in our front office.
