They said pigs would never fly. Turns out, they just needed the right wings. 🐽 ✈️

We transformed a wildly creative Ripley's Believe It or Not! concept into a 17-color flying work of art.

Featuring a bright pink pig with wings, a gold nose ring, a squeaky chicken earring, oversized graphics, and vivid colors across nearly every surface, this Citation 560XLS+ was designed to turn heads and make people smile.

Go behind the scenes as our Paint team translates flat artwork across the aircraft’s complex curves and contours. Through careful planning, close collaboration, precise masking, and expert craftsmanship, the team brought every unforgettable detail to life while staying true to the original vision of Ripley’s Believe It or Not!

The result proves that with enough creativity, technical expertise, and teamwork, just about anything is possible—even a flying pig.

The prestigious award recognizes aviation maintenance professionals who have dedicated at least 50 years to the industry, demonstrating exceptional technical expertise, professionalism, and a commitment to aviation safety.

Joe began his aviation career in 1975 with the United States Air Force and joined Duncan Aviation in 2012. Throughout his career, he has built lasting relationships, shared his knowledge, and made a meaningful impact on the aviation industry.

Surrounded by family, friends, and colleagues, Joe received the award during Duncan Aviation’s annual Sales Meeting, where he was honored with a standing ovation.

For 70 years, relationships have been at the heart of Duncan Aviation, and sometimes the best connections are made outside the hangar.

This summer, Duncan Aviation team members and customers spent a day fly fishing at Boxwood Gulch Ranch outside of Denver. With a full day on the water, beautiful Colorado scenery, and plenty of time to connect, it was a memorable way to spend time with the customers who have been part of our story.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the trip a success. As we celebrate Duncan Aviation’s 70th anniversary, we’re grateful for the relationships that continue to grow.
