Antoinette Celle Vineyards

Antoinette Celle Vineyards I have 3.6 acres of Dolcetto that were benchgrafted from cuttings that my father brought to the United States via suitcase.

We also have two acres of Petit Sirah, that came from cuttings from the Knoll Family Vineyards in Victor, California. This type of Dolcetto has unusual characteristics that are not common in the types of Dolcetto typically planted in California. The state as a whole, only has 81 acres of Dolcetto planted, period. My Dolcetto produce a more complex wine and the grapes are able to hang on the vines much longer than other grapes.

Update: A winemaker who is very familiar with these special grapes will make the wine. In the past, Paul Hernandez has made award winning wine with my Dolcetto.
Home winemakers!! I am offering my Grandfather Dolcetto that came here in a suitcase from the Langhe in the Piedmont region of northern Italy. Luz and I worked together to care for these vines and they are ready now for picking. The seeds inside of the grapes are brown. I am not charging a cost. Gratis. You just need to bring containers and make delicious wine from these award winning grapes. They must be hand harvested. That is why I am offering them to the public.

Besides the fact that Antoinette Celle Vineyards is located in the Lodi-Woodbridge Winegrape District, I am proud that Klinker Brick Winery, in Lodi makes wines from my Dolcetto and my Petite Sirah.

A sleepy California town has quietly transformed into the state's next must-visit wine destination.
