Tech Talk Tuesday:

Another "1-Take" video for you. Here, we are grooving one of our Vector Cutz blueprinted tires for karts & winged outlaw karts after cutting to half tread depth on our Larry Jones Motorsports tire lathe @ Carlson Motorsports.
We are using a VanAlstine tire groover to cut cross grooves between each block on this Burris tire for more forward bite on loose/marbley track surfaces where there is dust and marbles in the racing line.

Another set of our Vector Cutz "blueprinted" Hoosier treads.

This is a typical flat kart set of treads cut to half tread depth, featuring a pair of 8.00 right side Hoosier D30As that roll out 35", a left front 5.50 that rolls out 34", and a left rear that rolls out 33 3/4."

Mounted, sized, staggered, cut, plateau finished, and balanced on VanK wheels.

Here's a dogleg set of Hoosier A40 slicks getting the Vector Cutz blueprinted tire treatment.

Mounted, sized, staggered, cut, plateau finished, internally prepped, and balanced on black VanK wheels.

This set was finished to 400g for pavement champ kart racing.
Oh yea, they're fast. ;)

Here's a set of our Vector Cutz blueprinted treads.

These were prepared for a winged outlaw kart customer who wanted to try the wide RF set-up typically used on flat karts.
Both right side tires measure 35" and left sides are sized to achieve desired stagger.

These 5 tires give the option to use the 6.50" RF or 8.00 RF.
Generally, the wider RF allows you to roll some caster out of the front end, resulting in better roll speed for lower HP classes while keeping the same weight-jacking effect with the same steering input.

Ordering like this, gives you an easy way to simply swap right front tires to see if this set-up fits you.
