Cooling station is here, bounce house is here, dunk tank trying to get filled, Fire, EMS, Lindsay Police Department, Oklahoma and Oakley's Food truck all here we know it's HOT but come eat and grab you some popcorn cotten candy and cold water!

What a beautiful Tuesday!!
Walmart Lindsay is having their Annual Customer Appreciation Week Sept. 7th through Sept. 11th. Today they are handing out Popcorn and Cotton Candy! Oakley's Sips and Snacks is parked in their parking lot on the East side by the fence! Go get you some lunch and top off with some cotton candy! Then later this evening say 5p to 8p bring the kiddos out and let them meet our hometown hero's and maybe dunk someone from EMS or possibly one of our officers! Lindsay EMS, Lindsay Fire Department , Lindsay Police , and Garvin County Sherriff Department. Will all be there provided they are not needed in an emergency!

There just might be a bounce house somewhere!

Good morningish Lindsay folks! I have a few updates. LOTS of INFO please read it all :) PLEASE BE CHECKING YOUR SPAM OR JUNK EMAILS. I have been sending emails out like candy being thrown at a parade and I am worried many are NOT seeing them.

1. Our Driving Hunger out of Lindsay Food drive is STILL happening. It will be all of next week EXCEPT Wednesday the 9th. I have a training in Wayne that day. (UNLESS someone is willing to come accept the donations)

2. New letters are not being sent via email this month as we are integrating a new Chamber designed software program.

3. Hero's Night Out Tuesday Sept. 8th-- Wal-Mart and the Chamber of Commerce is proud to present Hero's Night Out! Location Wal-Mart parking lot 5p-8p. Come dunk a hero in the dunk tank! Oakley's Food Truck will be set up ALL Day to provide some of their amazing food (my favorite is the chicken bacon ranch cheese fries!)

4. Trade Days Saturday Sept. 12th 9a-3p IS A GO! Bring your all your stuff! Fresh produce, eggs, washed or unwashed (UNWASHED must be marked as such and NOT marked for eating) What folks choose to do with them once they purchase them is their choice. Farmers Market guidelines state that to sale "EATING" eggs you must have you egg handler license, eggs must be washed, in new carton, graded, and be kept at 45*. Veggies have been sot after EVERY single Trade Days! We have fresh baked breads coming, hand made items, crafts, jewelry, tamales, Food trucks, home made salsa, LOTS and LOTs of goodies are coming so come see us! If you have Rusty Dusty items that treasure seekers always LOVE to dig through BRING IT!

5. Sept 19th @ Napolis Lindsay is our next Sip -N- Paint be on the look out for sign-up!!

6. Sept 26th Stuffing Santa's Sack Poker Run!!! If you have WHEELS you can JOIN $10 a tire!!! Preregistration is OPEN NOW! If you can't preregister I hope to see you Saturday the 26th at say 9 am! If you bring me a shelf stable item you can pull one extra card to try to better your hand!

7. Joy Store applications will be ready for pick up OCT 1st. here at the Chamber building.

8. Oct 16th is our Annual Banquet! I NEED silent auction items. I will be reaching out to everyone this Month!

Just a reminder that unfortunately our Tractor Show and Live Music for Sept 12th noon to 10p has been canceled. 😔

We are making plans for next year!😁

Tractor groups from several towns will be joining us then! 😊
