After years of handling complex claims — from building collapses and m**h lab explosions to major infrastructure failures and everything in between — some losses still make you pause.

Walking through this one, it was hard to ignore: holiday décor throughout, kids’ toys scattered, meals left mid-prep. Quiet reminders of how fast everyday life can be disrupted.

After years in this industry, it’s easy to become numb. It’s important not to. To pause, have empathy, and document every detail.

I came across Aquor Water Systems at the Builder Show. Definitely a different take from the traditional spigot, but they look pretty slick.

Has anyone tried these or had experience with them? Are they any good?

GES - Could you please review this claim and provide an estimate?

We understand that our insured installed an incorrect filter which did not allow water to flow through. Thus, when water built up behind it, it caused a large amount of pressure which created damage to the claimant’s silo.

This email makes the third client in two weeks who’s brought up our schedule, so I figured it’s time to share.
It’s funny how often clients ask if we ever sleep.

Yes — we get a full 7 hours a night. Sleep, like family time, is non-negotiable. It’s what allows us to stay sharp and consistently deliver high-quality work without burning out.

The next question is usually: “How do y’all manage the workload and still make time for family and all your hobbies?”

The truth is, our schedule just doesn’t look like the traditional 9-to-5. We’ve intentionally structured our days to include 25+ hours of focused, undistracted family time every week — and honestly, I feel like we still get more time together than most.
