It's officially Senior Season over here, which means you can likely find me over here tearing up over Facebook posts of more other mama's babies graduating. I'm not the only one who does this, right?

On behalf of myself and Kismet Coffee Co. and Santa Clause himself, we would like to offer a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out today to spend some time with Santa and share some cookies and hot cocoa to kick off the Christmas season.

We were absolutely honored to host this event and so proud of it's success today. We are so excited to support our Local Angel Tree Program this holiday season!

Earlier this week I got to hang out with Jonathan, another awesome senior and enjoy the gorgeous fall we've been having.
His mom surprised him with a custom football right before we did those pictures. Such a fun and unique gift! Then we even got to snap a few shots with his girlfriend while she was getting her cheerleading pictures done. His mom and I joked that we should have had her with us the entire time, because he just couldn't help but smile when she was around.

Jonathan, I hope you enjoy the rest of your senior year! And I'm so excited for you to experience SIUE next fall!!

Another day, another gorgeous senior. We've really had to search for "fall" so far this year, but that golden light has really been showing off. I don't know how I get so lucky with the sweetest, most easy-going seniors, but Kennady was no exception... she's also thinking about going into nursing so she even gets some bonus points. Maybe I can convince her to join me in the NICU. ;)

Whenever I'd ask Drue what she was hoping for for her senior session she'd just tell me, "Whatever my mom wants. These are for her." She tried to tell me that she hated seeing herself in pictures. Um, no ma'am - there will be none of that here! Seriously, if you can fight 30+ mph winds and and absolutely rock it, you'll never convince me you can look bad in any picture.

I think we may have convinced her of what the world already sees - a gorgeous lady and a beautiful soul. Happy Drue. Happy mama.

Let's play a little game of 3 truths and a lie:

1) Someone fell down a hill and and got a bloody nose less than 5 minutes into the session.
2) Someone peed their pants, a little (okay a little more than a little).
3) Someone(s)? left the session in tears.
4) This session went absolutely perfectly.

Whatever happened, these pictures don't lie. This family is gorgeous. These photos are perfection.
