I've been in business for over ten years. I have horses of my own .I have owned horses since I was a child. Keeping your horse in halters and blankets some times can be a costly affair. I can repair almost any Blanket . I wash also. All blankets need to be clean either by me or you before repair.Mud ,sand and manure get in the machine if they are not clean. I am equipped to replace buckles, clips
surcingles and webbing. My rule of thumb on how to decide if it is worth the repair is : Is the blanket waterproof, where are the holes, on the sides, butt area or in the middle of the back Is this your primary blanket or a under blanket. All these things I ask myself to decide if it is worth it. If your in doubt CALL ME we can chat about your needs. I will wash anything I can not guarantee your blanket will hold up to washing . I have never had one fall apart but fabric being what it is ,it can dry rot . I have had webbing so dry rotted the it falls apart. Always your call. I waterproof, again your call . It will NOT make a blanket that is no longer still water proof , water proof again. water proofing on our blankets comes from the rubber that is on the INSIDE of the blanket more so then the stuff that is on the outside. Waterproofing is a sealer. Helps on the wear of the outside sealer. If your blanket has been repeatedly washed with soap and or ever put in the dryer. It is likely not water proof any more.I can do some leather work and If I can't do it I can send it to My harness maker who is very reasonable and quick to get it done. Again Call me . We'll come up with a plan that best works for you and your budget.
