That Which Does not Defeat You, Makes You Stronger!
To everyone who were concerned about my health, well being and whereabouts, I am fine now. Anyone who knows me knows I am a very private man so this will be a little awkward sharing such personal things. As for my absence I am not a man of excuses so I figured honesty would be best in this situation. I did not want to just pop back up with no explanations for my absence.
In life and business as well as anything else we all know that no matter how good things are things can change for the worse in the blink of an eye. I am currently emerging from a very difficult time in my life. Sometimes we just get blind sided with circumstances we were not prepared to deal with, so many serious things to deal with all at once. I fell into a very dark place and for a long time I did not see a way out. It’s been an almost 3 year battle and the only way I was able to make any progress was to disconnect from the world and fix me and fix the things there were going on. I did not close my shop. I did not leave town. In fact this whole time I barely missed a day of work. Although many of those days was spent on the stretched out on the floor staring at the ceiling, frozen with anxiety. I had not logged onto any social media either during that period. There were many serious things I had to handle all at once and even though I was at my breaking point, I knew quitting wasn’t an option for me. To be honest the only thing that kept me going was my family, my art, my close friends and some help from a few professionals. At the time I had a few dozen jobs here to get done and because I never actually stopped working I am now down to my last few I have to complete. This period of my life was one of the hardest things I’ve had to endure, but I made it to the other side somehow . Through it I have grown and learned some very valuable lessons and am ready to move forward, with a few changes...
Technically I never closed I just stepped back from the public while did what I had to do. My shop will be back to normal very soon. There are a few projects I have left to finish. If you are one of those people still waiting you will hear from me soon or you are welcome to leave me a message and I will resolve any leftover issues. I am not going to argue with anyone I am just here to correct some missteps. I will not leave ANYONE hanging...
Before I go, I need to say one more very important thing. After this ordeal I now understand why some people make permanent decisions for temporary problems. Depression and Anxiety are nothing to play with. If you are currently going through something and you can’t seem to find a way out, please seek help from others who care about you, or help from professionals. There is always a way out my friend.
This is a very vulnerable moment for me but I felt like transparency was the best choice. I was told not to reveal all of this because it would show weakness. But I didn’t feel right popping back up with no explanations at all. I am just not built like that. Sometimes we stumble and there is no shame in admitting it. We are not perfect beings. Maybe all of this has tarnished my good name somewhat but I cannot change yesterday. I can only show up as the best me i can be today. I am looking forward to serving again...and rebuild everything...from scratch if I have to...
Thank you to my true loyal friends and family for keeping the faith even when my faith was slipping. And the few close homies that had my back every step of the way. I appreciate you all. My shop number had not changed and it will be reactivated asap. Address is also the same..
