Hi everyone, I know it’s been such a long time since I posted anything to social media.

Here’s why:
I’ve been so busy with my new full time job and moving to a different location near D.C.

What’s next for me?:
Well, BIG NEWS, I bought a new kiln (Cone Art Square Kiln) for my studio in the basement. This kiln works GREAT! Now all my pottery can be done at home.

Aside from getting the new kiln, I’m making planters, berry bowls, hanging ornaments, and so much more. Before I was making only vases and mugs.

Last, but not least, I applied to some art shows in Pennsylvania , Delaware, and Virginia. I’m hoping to get in most/all of them 😀. And when I do I’ll be selling my new items at art shows this summer.

The vase on the left was one of my best vases in 2011. At that time I was trying to salvage what I can as part of my final for ceramics.

The vase on the right is one of my best vases in 2021. I made this one specifically for me as a reminder to keep working hard so I can achieve my goal. In my case, my goal is to make beautiful pottery that people would enjoy and love using my work.

As most of you don’t know, I started my pottery journey 10 years ago for a college course requirement and as you can see in these pictures, my bowls made in 2011 look like CRAP. The one in 2021 looks WAY better and plus it has my own white glaze recipe, my first ever glaze recipe that I created.

10 years of improvement and I’m loving it.
