The new engine is home!

Friday, October 18th, 2024 just before 4 PM. Fireline Equipment delivered our 2024 E-One Typhoon pumper.

After many weeks at the dealer for equipment mounting, the new engine has arrived home to stay. Driver training will commence immediately and we hope to have it in service very soon.

Stop out at our open house tomorrow between 1 PM and 4 PM to see the new addition to our family!

On Monday afternoon, wind gusts brought down a tree and power line near Seglock Road in Clay Township. A small fire was ignited by the energized power line and quickly spread to surrounding underbrush and the fallen tree.

Station 21 was notified of the fire at 12:56 PM and responded with TAC 21 and four firefighters. The crew used the booster line and brush rakes to hold the fire in place until PPL could get a crew to the site to secure the power.

Once the power line was secured by PPL, the crew extinguished the remaining fire in about 10 minutes. TAC 21 returned to quarters at 4:15 PM.

Just after 4pm on Friday, May 24th, Station 21 was dispatched to State Route 322 just West of Long Lane for a vehicle accident. A three-vehicle, chain-reaction crash was found to have occurred in the eastbound lane. Crews from Engine and Squad 21 checked for injuries, provided spill control, and directed traffic around the incident. Lebanon County Ambulance 190 transported one patient for an evaluation. The PA State Police are investigating the incident. Station 21 units cleared the scene in just under an hour.

The new Engine 21 made an appearance this weekend at the annual Lancaster County Firemen’s Association Fire Expo in Harrisburg. Our new pumper has been lettered by Sign Me Up in Manheim, PA and we should receive it in early June. We’re getting close!

Friday, April 26th - If you happen to see a large column of smoke north of Brickerville today, the PA Game Commission is performing a controlled burn of about 80 acres of woodland near Middle Creek.

Brickerville Fire Company extends our heartfelt condolences to our colleagues and friends at Durlach-Mt. Airy Station 14 for the loss of Dale Stahl. Dale served for many, many years, and he will be missed by all.
