Had a wonderful time attending a staff retreat. I was honored to be the key note speaker for the morning. What a wonderful bunch of people. I enjoyed speaking so much. Topics I covered were: self care, self love, authenticity and positivity. What an amazing group of people with bug giant hearts for helping others!!!

Someone asked today “what is success”... here are my thoughts:

Not for lack of trying, I never been able to assign any tangible thing or any amount of wealth to the definition of my personal success. Over the years I stopped assigning any type of value to the material. No matter how rich you get, no matter how many homes/cars/kids/vacations you have you will still die one day and you can’t take any of it with you. The only thing you can take is the hopefully feeling that as you leave this world you left something of value in your wake. That somehow the world was just a little bit better because you spent a little time walking around on it. That your contribution was noticed, and in what ever
small way it mattered.

For me success is:

1: When you STOP doing all the things you internally nag yourself about and START doing the things you nag yourself to do.

2: feeling that you have given back at least as much as you have taken from this world and the people in your life.

Success is relative. It’s individual and more than anything it is a mindset. The same applies to every aspect of life. If you believe something is sh*tty then it is. if you believe you have achieved success than you have.

I ask myself these questions:

1: will I be proud of my legacy if I were to die now?

2: do I feel like I have given as much or more than I have received?

3: have I brought value to the world around me?

When I can answer all those questions with “yes” I will feel successful....

P.s. I am still working on it.

I see this happening. Women are just fed up. I think most men would be happier if they had some close friends. So would women. Problem is men are taught from birth that needing anything or anyone is weakness. I feel so bad for these men. I understand and I try to make sure men know they cannot rely on only me. especially if we are dating they want to talk about relationship doubt. They need friends and everyone should have a counselor or life coach they talk to. Ultimately though it’s up to them to make some healthy friends. Women cannot carry the burden of our lives our children aaaand being the sole confidant for their men.
