When you look far ahead, you start to feel what’s possible.

Life has definitely changed for me — for the better. I’ve walked away from past traumas and stepped into a new chapter filled with unexpected blessings. But I’m not there yet. I’m still pushing, still grinding, and still building.

Some of my friends might think I’m crazy for choosing progress over fun this year — and that’s okay. Because I’ve realized that when you’re laser-focused on your future, not everyone will understand your vision. And that’s fine.

This year is my stepping stone. The foundation I’m building now is going to change everything later — and you can bet on that. 💯🚀

After a week filled with life’s challenges, this Friday feels like more than just the end of the week; it represents a well-earned moment of relief and accomplishment.

Here it is: the day I hoped would never come, the day I had to use my first responder training. I always prayed it would never happen, but today, it did. Ironically, I should be happy today—I received a check for one and a half weeks’ worth of pay. But no amount of money can lift my spirits after witnessing the trauma of someone getting hurt right in front of me.

Today, I had to administer first aid to a coworker who injured herself at work. During the incident, I remained calm and functional, guiding her to take deep breaths and reassuring her that everything would be alright. I thought I would be fine afterward, but now that the commotion has ended, the quiet is amplifying what I just experienced. I can still hear the screaming, despite everyone assuring me of her well-being.

Today was supposed to be uneventful and happy. But just like my own recent experience, one moment changed everything for my coworker. She was fine, and then suddenly, she wasn’t. This incident makes me reflect on how fragile our reliance on trading time for financial security is.

This experience, though not my own, teaches me a lot. I urge everyone to stay safe and work toward aligning your financial future. Because, as I witnessed today, you can be perfectly fine one moment, and the next, everything can change.

There are many days when you feel great, but there are also days when you don’t. Today is one of those challenging days for me. Yesterday and the days before, I was fine—running on my treadmill, going to work, and managing my digital business. But today, I find myself visiting the clinic for severe chest pain and unable to go to work. Despite this, my business and investments continue to operate, even when I can’t.

When I talk about my business and investments, people often say, “Shariff, you’re a risk-taker! Why do you put your money where you might not see growth or even lose it all?” My answer is always the same: If I’m lucky, today might just be one tough day. But what happens when it turns into multiple days? What if you can’t work and run out of sick leave? So, where’s the real risk?

To me, the real risk is assuming that you’ll always be okay tomorrow.

When you follow the Lord’s guidance and possess the determination and patience to pursue your dreams, blessings will surely come your way. Who could have predicted that, after years of building my credit only to face setbacks last year, I would begin to recover? Initially, I feared it might take years to rebound, but thankfully, through prayer and realigning myself with God, I am finding my footing once more.
