This Enphase Energy IQ battery solution added to a EnPhase IQ8 micro-inverter PV system installed a couple of years ago to a farm horse training arena in Saddle River, NJ will help provide power to this facility when the grid goes down. Watch battery provides 5 kilowatt hours of storage at some of the highest power output available thanks to their battery micro-inverter design. Solutions need to be thoroughly designed and power expectations forecasted and communicated to the site owner, to avoid the disappointment of the poorly designed solution not providing power for more than couple of hours.
