Good Morninf Everyone!
Iâd like to share a story, and I believe it can be applied to all aspects of life. A few weeks back I lost something that was important to me. For some it may be considered trivial but for others you can empathize the loss. I lost my zip lock of gift cards. Now, you are wondering why are the gift cards so special, right? Some of these cards Iâve had for awhile due to returns, gifting, etc. I keep them in the same place all the time and have never lost them until a few weeks back. I couldnât believe that I misplaced it. I didnât know where, when and how! I was very upset, I shared my story with everyone! I searched my two bedroom home repeatedly hoping it would pop up but it didnât. I started to accept the loss, and then one day I said Iâm going to pray for them. In the Greek Orthodox religion there is a Saint, Agios Fanourios and he is the martyr and miracle worker who intercedes when things are lost. I was given the prayer to ask for help, and I said it about a week ago. This morning while getting ready for work, my daughter was playing in my work bag. She comes to me and says, âmommy look what I found.â It was my zip lock of gift cards! I couldnât believe it, I was shocked! I had looked in that bag more than once. I was so happy! Look, itâs just gift cards but the point is I had faith! I had faith that I was going to find them, I have faith that light triumphs over darkness, and as a mom I have faith in my kids. They may not always listen or sleep when you want but we need to have faith that because we are their mothers they are getting the love and guidance they need! It may not always happen at the time we want, but it does work out the way we need it to.
Everyone have a blessed day đ„°
