Yesterday I attended a conference by ,Theo Talks X, , for ministry leaders and digital architects. I got a chance to hear from people I consider gurus and experts in their lanes; Rev. DK Hammonds , Tiffany Brown and Pastor . I went to learn. I left being recognized. 🫣
Somebody walked up to me and said “You’re Jae Nicole, right?” I’m like, “Yea” 👀. Their response….”I recognize you from social media.”and I genuinely had to sit with that for a second. 🤯 I haven’t been actively building anything. I closed my business. I’ve been quiet. And still, the presence I’ve been cultivating just found me in a room.
My badge said “Building What Eyes Can’t See.”
That’s a word. Because brand recognition doesn’t happen overnight. It’s the accumulation of every post, every room, every season of showing up even when it felt like nobody was watching. I ain’t new to this. Thee Dopest is still evolving, still becoming, still unfolding. But today confirmed that the work was never wasted. 🥹
God has a way of reminding you that you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be, even in the preparation. Even in the transition. Even in the quiet. 🙏🏾
The building doesn’t stop just because you got still. Sometimes the stillness IS the building. 🙌🏾💃🏾
