No Child Goes Hungry: Summer Meals Are Here for Our Community

When school is out, we know access to meals can be a challenge for many families. That’s why we’re sharing this important opportunity to help keep our children nourished, healthy, and ready to thrive.

Thanks to PCSSD and Chartwells K12, children 18 and under can receive FREE breakfast and lunch meal packs all summer long.
✅ No registration
✅ No ID required
✅ No school enrollment necessary

Simply pull up to a designated pickup site between June 4 and July 30th- 7:00–10:00 AM on distribution days, and meals will be placed right into your vehicle.

Let’s work together to make sure every child in our community has access to the food they need this summer.

The College of Education Residency Match Day took place Friday, April 24th in the Student Center at UCA. This event brought together 14 different districts from across Central Arkansas and 80+ UCA College of Education Students who will be moving into their Residency I semester in the Fall of 2026.

Residents came dressed for success, brought copies of their resumes, and had the opportunity to have two-minute interviews with up to 8 different districts! Residents were able to practice interview skills and meet administrators from districts where they will potentially be placed and/or work in the future. Feedback from districts, residents, and program coordinators will be used to make placement decisions for the year-long residency!

Early feedback indicated that districts were impressed with our UCA students and our students enjoyed having the opportunity to meet with districts and learn more about what their residency year will look like! Thank you to all who participated!
