! 29 CFR 1910.136 “Foot Fun”. 🥰🥰 I had to do the K Scott Switch and was not about to run find another pair of socks. So I made a fashion statement! ❤️❤️
In honor of National Safety Month, I am still shocked by the number who don’t know this, so I’m sharing!
Did you know that since May 2008 employers are no longer required to provide regular foot protection?
Employers do not have to pay for and provide steel toe boots anymore! Speciality boots like electrical rated, water, special rubber, etc., they still do. But not regular steel toe shoes. But many employers participate in the voucher program to help alleviate the cost. These came from Work Way Safety in NLR! Our preferred vendor. You show up, make your selection, based on the type your employer has requested for PPE, sign the form, and it’s payroll deducted.
If your employer DOES pay for them, be nice to your Safety and Compliance person because they are not required to. 🫶🏾🫶🏾
These boots are custom made for women. ANSI AND K Scott approved! So far these are a K Scott Consults, LLC fav! Thanks Mark for always taking care of me! Oh and , be mindful of places that state “OSHA APPROVED”. That’s usually a scam. OSHA doesn’t approve anything. Not even people like us. They AUTHORIZE us. Check for the ANSI standard.
To my Dearest new Sorors Ranita Dement and Brenda Faye Garland, please know I thought of you all when I realized I had on the PERFECT pair of “boot socks”. 😂😂
