Nearly a year ago, GF Central Plastics celebrated the grand opening of its new $30 million, 150,000-square-foot Metals Campus in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Built to support future growth, the facility also set a high bar for sustainability, achieving LEED Gold certification with 32.5% energy cost savings, a 36.76% reduction in indoor water use, and 93% of construction waste diverted from landfill.

Entegrity helped make those achievements possible through sustainability consulting, commissioning, building testing, and LEED certification support.

Happy work anniversary to Anna Threlkeld and Sheena Moses!

Both joined Entegrity in October 2023, and we're excited to celebrate three years of having them on our Sustainability team! We asked one of their teammates to describe what makes each of them such a great part of the team, and the answers were too good not to share:

"Anna Threlkeld, aka "The Positivity Powerhouse," always brings enthusiasm, a can-do attitude, and a willingness to jump in wherever she's needed.

Big congratulations to Kelsea Lowery on earning her Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) certification!

The CxA is a major professional credential in the commissioning industry, and Kelsea’s accomplishment reflects years of experience, dedication, and expertise. She also became the first Entegrity employee to take the newly revised exam—and passed it on her first try (of course she did!).

Solar policy looks different from state to state.

In markets where incentives and favorable rate structures are still available, there can still be strong opportunities to reduce utility costs, especially when solar is paired with other energy-saving measures.

A few degrees can make a bigger difference than you might think.

Research cited by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory found that a 3.6°F discharge-air-temperature sensor error can increase HVAC energy use by about 10%.

Small calibration issues can quietly affect control sequences, heating, and cooling without triggering an obvious alarm. That’s one reason commissioning and functional testing look beyond whether equipment turns on and focus on whether the system responds correctly.

What if commissioning started with design—not at the end of it?

At CAPPA 2026, Entegrity’s Bryan Yates and Zach Kremer will join Andrew Wells and Chris Sutterer of Dake Wells Architecture to present “Commissioning With a Capital D.”

They’ll explore how treating commissioning as a design discipline can help architects and engineers establish a stronger framework for building performance from the beginning.

Unlike traditional bulbs, LEDs don't typically reach the end of their useful life by suddenly burning out. Instead, their light output gradually decreases over time.

L70 is a common way to describe LED life: it represents the number of operating hours until an LED is expected to produce 70% of its initial light output.

Entegrity considers factors like light levels, fixture performance, controls, and long-term maintenance when designing LED lighting upgrades.

A targeted upgrade. $237,240 in approved project funding. Approximately 2.5 weeks from installation start to completion.

Entegrity partnered with Helix Community Schools and Community Energy Alliance to complete LED lighting upgrades across three Louisiana educational facilities.

The improvements reduced lighting energy use while delivering significant increases in light levels—including Baker High School’s gymnasium, where measured lighting increased from approximately 30–35 to 85–115 foot-candles.

Funding for the projects was approved through the Louisiana Public Service Commission’s Statewide Energy Efficiency Program for Public Entities.
