Bear season is here!

I just wanted to put out a post on how NOT to cut your bear.

These are just a couple of bear that came in and unfortunately costed the customer more money putting them back together because of how the guides carelessness cut them.

Reach out to your taxidermist on how they would like you to prepare them to save yourself money and quality of your mounts .

If you know anybody that is planning to bring their bear to us, can you remind them that this is how we like the bear prepared.

Do not cut down the front legs on a half mount .

Cut down the back, pull back the front legs as far as you can, then cut them off.

If you’re doing a life-size, or rug you can cut down the center and up the legs.

Talk to your Taxidermist and ask them how they would like you to prepare your trophies.

Everybody does it a little different.

Thank you and good luck out there!!
